Heena is a qualified Industrial Psychologist by trade, registered with the Health Professions Council SA (HPCSA) and Psychological Society of SA.
Her understanding of human behaviour and intelligence gathering is the cornerstone of how Talent Trace operates.
After +22 years within the Executive Search industry, she founded Talent Trace, launching her own brand with a culture and methodology geared towards generating repeat business.
Her fresh and forward thinking approach to search, coupled with her relationship building, leadership and communication skills have been the reasons that Talent Trace has grown in these challenging times.
Her experience lies in both listed and unlisted industries with expertise in Metals, Manufacturing, Energy, Banking, Media, Financial Services and Hospitality.
She has the intuition and intellect to understand dynamic industries and work environments and utilises that skill set to identify and recruit the right talent for middle, senior management, executive and C-suite roles.
Senior Executive Search Partner
Alex is a Senior Executive Search Partner and holds a B. Social Science and a Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PDM) from the University of Cape Town.
Her academic background fostered her creativity, innovation, critical thinking and problem solving skills. Alex’s is armed with +20 years’ experience in the recruitment and search industry and focuses on middle to senior and executive management positions. Knowledgeable about the talent requirements across a range of industries from retail and financial/banking to education, construction and professional services. Alex has been instrumental in multinational companies’ business expansion, successfully identifying top talent to grow the business across sectors and geographies. Alex is skilled at identifying company culture fit for business productivity.

Senior Researcher & Database Manager
Caroline holds a Bachelor of Arts in Marketing Communications at Bond University.
Danelle has qualifications from the International Hotel School and is a trained researcher and administrator.
German by heritage, after completing her tertiary education she completed an internship for Estee Lauder, Germany. In South Africa for clients within the automotive, mining and corporate communications industries Caroline worked as a senior PR manager. With an understanding of the people side of brand marketing, Caroline later joined the executive search sector specialising in head hunting. Human resources heavily contributes to a company’s culture, her role involves understanding hospitality, insurance, IT and Media industries to identify a best candidate fit.
Having worked as front office staff in hotels, she understands the service industry well. She has cross functional skills, and is always willing to take on additional responsibilities to obtain further work experience. Danelle currently works for Talent Trace as a Researcher, Administrator and Database Manager. A quick learner, administratively strong and responsible for our candidate checks, crucial to the search process at Talent Trace. She is skilled in a vast range of computer systems, enabling her to work on many client platforms and internal systems.
